Mental Health concerns flare up during COVID19: Media Coverage

A succinct piece on our approach to uncover #mentalhealthconcerns flaring up during #COVID19. Social Distancing and Social Isolation have affected the mental wellbeing of the people. Using social sensing on Twitter, we estimate the impact of covid19 on usa concerning depression, anxiety, substance-use, and addiction through a metric: SocialQualityIndex. Using Mental Health America study as the reference of pre-COVID19, we validated our metric and showed that the projected figures corroborate the forthcoming news on Mental Health.
